Book Earrings

I saw some book earrings on Facebook that I thought my wife and daughter would like and I almost ordered them but then I thought,

So I modeled the book in Shapr3D. Then I 3D printed it on my Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. I located the book cover artwork for the books I was making and scaled it to the correct size and printed it. Next I glued it on the book and painted the pages with an aging medium paint to make them look old. Then I added eye hook, jumper ring and earring hook and sealed it with a matte sealer. I made a set for my daughter and wife both featuring their favorite books. They turned out great.
